I build data systems and small, useful software.
I'm Neil Schwalb. I help small businesses and data teams get more out of their data, AI, and software. I live in the Greater Asheville area of North Carolina.
By day I'm Director of Data at Digible, a digital marketing agency for multifamily housing, where I'm building an AI-ready data platform. My wife and I also own the Cold Stone Creamery at Biltmore Park. Running it led me to build Crewmuster, a scheduling app for small stores.
Before Digible I was a Staff Data Architect at Google, where I led a full rebuild of GFiber's data platform. Before that I spent seven years at Intuit Mailchimp, growing from data researcher to managing a 20-person data engineering team.
